Standard Precautions. All employees shall routinely use appropriate barrier precautions to prevent skin and mucous membrane exposure when contact with blood or the body fluids of any resident is anticipated as outlined in:</B></div> <div> <B>(1) Guideline for Isolation Precautions in Hospitals; and</B></div> <div> <B>(2) COMAR 09.12.31.</B></div> <div> <B>B.
